The Eastern Sierra College Center (ESCC) is an instructional site of Cerro Coso Community College serving areas of California including Bishop, Big Pine, Lone Pine, Independence, Death Valley and surroundings located in Inyo and Mono Counties.
The stately Bishop Campus is a full service campus offering the opportunity to advance education by taking classes for transfer, fulfillment of career, technical education or simply for personal fulfillment. A wide range of classes are offered on campus, televised through interactive television or online in lengths ranging from a semester to a few weeks. Individuals are encouraged to explore the broad spectrum of offerings. Campus facilities are available for outside events .

Beginning summer 2019, Pell Grant eligible students can receive up to 150% of their scheduled Pell award each year. What does this mean for you? If you were a Pell eligible student in fall 2018 and/or spring 2019, you may qualify for a Pell Grant for summer 2019!
If you enrolled full-time (12+ credits) and received the full-time Pell Grant amount for fall 2018 and spring 2019, you must enroll at least half-time (6+ credits) in summer classes to receive a summer Pell Grant.
If you enrolled part-time fall 2018 or spring 2019, there is no minimum credit requirement to receive a summer Pell Grant (unless required by your EFC). You can use the remainder of your annual Pell Grant amount during summer with no minimum credit requirement.
Your summer Pell Grant amount will depend on the number of credits you are registered in, as well as your Pell Lifetime Eligibility Units (LEU). The Pell Grant amount will be adjusted just prior to the release (disbursement) of your aid based on your enrollment level. Enrollment levels are defined in the following manner:
Financial aid consists of funds awarded to students to help meet their educational expenses. It can also provide students with the opportunity to earn money to help cover their expenses.

There are many opportunities for funding your education. All students must fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Renewal Application at FAFSA on the Web every year. Applying online is fast and easy.
DREAM ACT APPLICATIONS: For eligible AB540 students (attended 3 years and graduated from CA High School, is not eligible to fill out FAFSA) – Considered for Cal Grants and Board of Governor's Fee waiver pending income eligibility.
